GPSS Holdings participates as a member of the Oshamambe Local Agribusiness Joint Venture (hereinafter referred to as the consortium), and contributes to the economic revitalization of Oshamambe Town through the development of solar power, and also within the consortium. In this capacity, GPSS is responsible for the creation of an autonomous and sustainable society as a result of industry-government-academia collaboration, by utilizing renewable energy for a proactive agribusiness.

‘I love Matsunoyama Iwaizumi and I want to help convey the goodness of the local area. We agreed with the Group’s philosophy of investing in the the geothermal capacity and collaborating with locals in the area; I want to utilize this capacity as a form of business. We aim to make effective use of limited underground resources, including the use of hot spring heat upon power generation, and to create a sustainable community for the purpose of constant monitoring and management of the wells.

Based on vast experience and deep insights, GPSS provides a one-stop service from initial contracting, all the way to development, construction and operation. We have our own engineering group that specializes in EPC and operation & maintenance activities. Not only are we involved in construction management of projects, but by also maintaining the actual construction and day-to-day operation of the power plant internally, we are able to deliver safety, security and efficiency at a low cost.
