What did you do before joining GPSS?

I worked as an In-house system engineer (I.T. help desk) at a publishing company.


Please tell us the reason why you decided to join GPSS.

I joined the company because I felt that it was a company that was recognized for its diverse values due to the large number of foreign employees.


What is your role at GPSS?

Charged with the the I.T. help desk at GPSS, I / we respond to various IT questions from employees.
I am also in charge of managing personal computers, peripherals, and software. (inventory management, new ordering, troubleshooting, equipment preparation for new employees, verification work, etc.).


Please tell us "the moment when your soul ignited" after joining GPSS.

It was when the way of working at the entire company changed drastically due to the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic. At that time, I felt that my IT work would become a "major pillar that supports new work styles for all employees." In addition, the number of IT-related requests increased drastically, but while focused on my work, I though about "how to respond to those requests reliably and quickly", and that is when my soul ignited.

There is no such thing as "incomplete ignition of the soul" at this company.
